How it works
The reference image exists to introduce the characters, not to define how your recreation should look.
You are encouraged to interpret the character freely in your own style, medium and direction.
To begin, these are the requirements;

You must follow our creator page on Kickstarter to qualify.
You must post in the Mazerance X Community and submit your link on Discord.
Only entries that reinterpret the referenced characters will be judged.
Your recreation can take many forms: wall graffiti, wood carving, traditional and digital painting, motion video, drone-shot visuals, illustrations, UI designs or something entirely unexpected.
Rules
No AI-generated artwork
AI tools are only allowed for ideation and brainstorming. Final submission must be human-made
Proof of work required
Submission must include proof of creation, such as a Time-lapse, a Screenshot or Source file.
One Entry Per Person/Team
Multiple submissions will not be accepted.
Global
All countries welcome.
Collaborations allowed
One prize per winning entry (shared by the team).
Submit on time
Late entries will not be considered.

Winners will be contacted via Discord DM by the official Mazerance account.

Submit in the community then post the link in the discord channel
Ownership
You keep full rights to your art. By entering, you allow Mazerance to repost your submission with credit.
Safety & content
No hateful, explicit, or infringing content.
Minors
If under the local age of consent, please have a parent/guardian help with submission.
Shipping & taxes
Prizes ship internationally. Any local customs duties/taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
Disputes & fairness
Mazerance may disqualify entries that break the rules or manipulate voting (if public voting is used).
How we pick
winners
Internal & notable external judges will select the 8 winners based on creativity, craft and how clearly the piece references the characters
